Nathaniel Ward is a trial lawyer with extensive experience in complex litigation, international commercial arbitrations, and internal investigations. He has represented clients in the automotive, aerospace, health care, medical device, information technology, and sports industries.
Nathaniel's litigation experience includes defending companies in merger challenges brought by the federal government, including STERIS Corporation's acquisition of Synergy Health and Aetna's merger with Humana. He also represents companies in a wide variety of contract and tort claims in federal and state courts.
Nathaniel's international arbitration practice includes the representation of companies in arbitrations throughout the world. Most recently, Nathaniel played a leading role in the successful representation of an aerospace manufacturer in a matter before the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) involving more than $100 million in alleged damages.
Additionally, Nathaniel represents multinational corporations in connection with internal investigations, including leading roles in numerous cross-border investigations involving allegations of corruption, bribery, and fraud. He speaks Russian and regularly uses his language skills in international investigations.
Nathaniel also represents clients seeking asylum and clients bringing claims against police departments and officers for the violation of constitutional rights.
