Nate Ecker has experience conducting data privacy, cybersecurity, and other internal investigations. He has been part of teams that conducted forensic investigations, advised on reporting obligations, assisted with remediation efforts, and drafted findings for automotive, health care, and manufacturing clients. He has also worked with clients to update website terms and conditions and privacy policy language to comply with applicable international and state privacy regulations.
Nate's litigation experience covers a broad range of areas, including consumer protection disputes, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, insurance coverage, and mortgage-backed securities. Additionally, Nate has been a part of teams that transition deals from LIBOR (London Interbank Offered Rate). He also maintains an active pro bono practice and was part of a team that secured asylum for a woman fleeing an abusive relationship in her home country.
Outside of work, Nate is an assistant coach for the mock trial team at the Moritz College of Law at The Ohio State University.
