Mackenzie Guardazzi counsels clients in a wide variety of complex labor and employment issues including internal investigations of employee complaints, wage and hour audits, and reductions in force. Mackenzie has experience representing clients in single, multiple plaintiff, and class action litigation before federal and state courts, in arbitration, and before administrative agencies. She has successfully defended corporate clients in briefing before multiple appellate courts and secured dismissal or summary judgment through dispositive motion practice as well as awards for sanctions against opposing counsel.
Mackenzie has represented clients in many different industries including health care, finance, transportation, and consumer goods. In addition, Mackenzie maintains an active pro bono practice, representing asylum seekers at the Laredo, Texas detention facility counseling them through the United States immigration process.
