Depuis plus de 14 ans, Jörg Hladjk s'occupe des questions relatives à la cyber-sécurité et la protection des données en Europe. Jörg dirige le département "Cyber-sécurité, Vie Privée et Protection des Données" à Bruxelles. Le cabinet est classé « Tier 1 » dans Legal 500 EMEA, et Jörg est reconnu comme un praticien de premier plan par The International Who's Who of Data Privacy & Protection Lawyers.
Jörg conseille des clients multinationaux dans tous les secteurs de l'industrie, en particulier l'automobile, les technologies de l'information, l'énergie et les sciences de la vie. Son travail couvre la mise en œuvre du Règlement Général sur la Protection des Données (RGPD) et l'obtention d'approbations pour les Règles d'Entreprise Contraignantes, la conformité de la vie privée dans le secteur des communications électroniques ("ePrivacy"), la préparation à la violation des données et la réponse aux incidents dans le cadre de la Directive Européenne sur la Cyber-sécurité, ainsi que les questions litigieuses en matière de protection des données. Jörg a également une grande expérience en matière de conseil sur les questions de protection des données dans le cadre des opérations de fusion et d’acquisition transfrontalières.
Récemment, Jörg Hladjk a conseillé une grande société américaine de logiciels sur son offre d'outils cyber-sécurité pour l'UE, un équipementier automobile mondial sur son programme de mise en œuvre du RGPD, une multinationale sur sa stratégie de voitures connectées et une société d'appareils médicaux sur sa technologie d'applications mobiles. D’autres clients représentatifs incluent Astellas Pharma, Garmin International, Procter & Gamble, Toyota, Goldman Sachs, IBM, ICANN et Wells Fargo.
Jörg siège au conseil consultatif de l'association industrielle Trust in Digital Life (TDL) et co-président du Chapitre KnowledgeNet de l'IAPP à Bruxelles. Il est l'auteur de plus de 40 articles juridiques et le coauteur d'importants commentaires européens, dont RGPD (Ehmann/Selmayr, 1ère /2ème éditions). Il siège au conseil consultatif des publications de l'IAPP.
