Risa Lake's practice focuses on internal and government investigations and complex commercial litigation. She represents entities and individuals facing enforcement actions by the United States Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Her litigation experience spans various phases, including pleadings, motion practice, and all aspects of discovery. Risa also counsels companies on mitigating forced labor-related risks in their supply chains and developing and implementing trainings and policies and procedures to enhance regulatory compliance.
Risa maintains an active pro bono practice and represents clients in family court, immigration, and asylum proceedings. She is heavily involved in the Firm's efforts to combat human trafficking.
