Jon Matthew represents and advises employers in a variety of labor and employment matters. His experience includes defending employers in multiplaintiff and single plaintiff litigation, including matters arising under Title VII, the Age Discrimination and Employment Act (ADEA), and the New York State Human Rights Law (NYSHRL). He also has experience advising clients in litigation avoidance, workplace conduct trainings, and reductions in force.
Jon maintains an active pro bono practice. He provides counseling to nonprofit organizations on employment practices. He also represents clients in immigration and family court proceedings. He represents clients seeking asylum and works with Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) to represent unaccompanied minors seeking special immigrant juvenile status.
