Kate Watchorn advises fund managers on legal and regulatory matters regarding fund formation, marketing, fund governance, documenting, and investor negotiations.

Prior to joining Jones Day in 2023, Kate worked as an associate in the asset management and investment funds department at a law firm in Dublin, Ireland, where she advised asset managers on business initiatives in Ireland. In particular, Kate advised on the structuring, establishment, operation, and regulation of UCITS (undertaking for collective investment in transferable securities) and AIFs (alternative investment funds).
