Athina Gaitanou's practice focuses on advising national and international clients on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, private equity matters regarding the purchase or sale of corporate entities or shares, as well as general corporate matters.

Prior to joining Jones Day in 2023, Athina was a legal solicitor at an international law firm in Stuttgart (Germany) and Birmingham (United Kingdom), where she advised clients on M&A and private equity transactions. She also worked at an organization that counsels companies on bilateral business developments in the United States and in Germany.
