Katie Thomas focuses her practice on complex civil litigation. She has experience in many aspects of discovery and trial preparation, including conducting legal research, briefing and motions practice, and preparing documents for deposition and presentation at trial. In addition to her pretrial experience, she has worked at trial.
Katie maintains an active pro bono practice with the Firm's Border Project, which provides guidance and legal representation to individuals with claims for asylum or other forms of immigration relief.
Prior to joining Jones Day in 2023. Katie clerked for Chief Judge Mark R. Hornak in the Western District of Pennsylvania, where she worked on complex civil and criminal cases.
