Michael Gray is recognized as one of the country's leading labor and employment lawyers, representing major corporate clients in complex workplace and privacy matters. He is particularly known for his achievements in class action and multiplaintiff employment discrimination and wage-hour lawsuits, high-level investigations, governance and DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) matters, biometric and privacy litigation, and trade secret and restrictive covenant disputes.
Michael brings a creative, business-minded approach to problem solving and litigation. He is a frequent national speaker and a member of the Advisory Board of The Cornell Institute for Hospitality Labor and Employment Relations and NYU Law's Center for Labor and Employment Law.
Michael is a leader in combatting hate and antisemitism in the world and promoting health equity. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center (IHMEC), a co-founder of the American Heart Association Counsel for a Cause campaign, and is the 2024 recipient of the Humanitarian of the Year from the IHMEC.
