Steve Cottreau has a strong track record defending clients in complex civil and investigative matters. His litigation experience crosses many industries, and he represents clients in government and internal investigations involving the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), money laundering, as well as securities, accounting, financial, and government contracts fraud. Steve also represents clients in civil matters, including class actions. He regularly represents clients in litigation involving breach of contract, fraud, breach of duty, RICO, the Anti-Terrorism Act, and other claims.
Steve has written and presented on the Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act (JASTA), RICO claims, and whistleblower complaints, as well as other subjects related to electronic evidence, foreign discovery, and cross-border litigation.
