Lin Kahn has more than 15 years of experience representing clients in high-stakes government investigations and antitrust litigation. She represents companies in the pharmaceutical, technology, manufacturing, and defense industries in matters involving claims of monopolization, tying, exclusive dealing, unfair competition, and unlawful mergers. Lin previously served for five years at the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), where she was the first-chair lead trial counsel in the agency's successful trial against dental products distributors, as well as the lead attorney on numerous other conduct and merger investigations.

Lin's recent matters include representing a leading technology company in a class action alleging unlawful tying and monopolization, securing dismissal without leave to amend at the pleading stage; a pharmaceutical company in an FTC investigation on drug pricing; a manufacturer in an FTC investigation on repair restrictions; and a video game developer as a divestiture buyer in the FTC's merger challenge against Microsoft/Activision. Lin also has significant experience litigating antitrust class actions alleging "no-poach" agreements between competing employers and other competitor agreements. She was part of the Jones Day trial team that obtained a full defense jury verdict in favor of a hospital system in a group boycott case.

Lin was one of only five antitrust lawyers in the country to receive the honor of “Top Attorneys Under 40” from Law360 in 2021. Lin is a vice chair of the ABA Antitrust Section's Civil Practice and Procedure Committee and a member of the Executive Committee of the Antitrust Section of the California Lawyers Association. She co-leads Jones Day's Asian Lawyers Affinity Group.
