Viktoriia Korynevych advises clients in a variety of complex commercial and investment arbitrations, as well as in enforcement proceedings in civil and common law jurisdictions.
Viktoriia has represented private investors and foreign sovereigns in arbitrations before the International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), as well as in ad hoc arbitrations under the UNCITRAL (United Nations Commission on International Trade Law) Arbitration Rules. Viktoriia is currently representing a Canadian mining company in a UNCITRAL arbitration against Kazakhstan. In addition to her dispute resolution practice, Viktoriia advises clients on a range of international legal matters, including treaty interpretation and risk management strategies.
Viktoriia maintains an active pro bono practice providing legal analysis and counseling related to war crimes committed in Ukraine.
Prior to joining Jones Day in 2021, Viktoriia worked at a major international law firm in Washington, D.C., focusing on international arbitration and complex commercial matters. Viktoriia also practiced at an international law firm in Ukraine.
