Ann Bomberger advises public and private companies on all aspects of their strategic transactions. She has extensive experience in structuring, negotiating, and executing M&A transactions of all kinds. In particular, Ann frequently advises clients on cross-border deals, carve-out transactions, joint ventures, and restructurings. She also counsels clients on complex supply, distribution, licensing, leasing, and other arrangements (both transitional and long-term) in connection with numerous M&A transactions.
Ann advises clients in a wide range of industries, including consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, health care, food and beverage, industrial products and services, electrical distribution, and financial services. Among other things, Ann's experience includes: Procter & Gamble's sales of its beauty ($12.5 billion) and Duracell ($2.9 billion) businesses; Sonepar's acquisitions of Echo Electric, Billows Electric, and NEDCO Supply and divestiture of Vallen Distribution; Cardinal Health's combination of its Outcomes™ business with Transaction Data Systems; ABM's $1.25 billion acquisition of GCA Services Group and $830 million acquisition of Able services; Parker Hannifin's $4.3 billion acquisition of CLARCOR; and Goodrich Corporation's $18.4 billion merger with United Technologies.
Ann is actively involved in Jones Day's recruiting, training, and mentoring initiatives and is a member of the Firm's training committee.
