Ahmad Krecht represents financial institutions and multinational corporations in complex commercial disputes and cross-border investigations.

As part of his international practice, Ahmad has carried out and defended internal investigations pertaining to regulatory compliance in the Middle East and beyond. He has led on-site investigations for clients, including a major Middle East-based bank in a sanctions and OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) matter and a medical technology company in an anticorruption/bribery (Foreign Corrupt Practices Act/FCPA) representation. In addition, he has acted in a number of major U.S. federal litigation cases, including an antitrust matter involving monopolization and exclusive dealing.

Ahmad's public interest experience includes extensive work with victims of human trafficking as well as with refugees, including interning with the International Refugee Assistance Project in Lebanon. Prior to joining Jones Day in 2024, Ahmad was an associate at an international law firm in Chicago, Illinois.
