Lisa Lathrop is co-leader of Private Equity for the Firm's Corporate Practice. She acts as the principal lawyer for private equity funds during the full life cycle of their portfolio company investments, from acquisition through disposition. During her nearly 20 years of practice at Jones Day, Lisa has worked on a wide variety of deal structures in jurisdictions around the globe. Lisa's extensive experience also includes the representation of privately held businesses and other strategic buyers and sellers in connection with their M&A activity. She also serves a general counsel function for countless portfolio companies of private equity funds.
The clients Lisa represents include Baird Capital, Blue Sea Capital, Gulftech International, HCI Equity Partners, High Road Capital Partners, Irving Place Capital, Norwest Equity Partners, The Riverside Company, and Sky Island Capital.
