Katie Lang acts for private equity funds, institutional investors, managers, and corporate clients. She has experience in advising clients through each stage of the real estate investment cycle, including in connection with single-asset and portfolio acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures, co-investments (both majority and minority investments), and management and operational terms. Katie has advised clients in a broad range of asset classes such as build-to-rent (BTR), multifamily, purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA), hotels, shopping centers, offices, logistics, and self-storage.

Katie's notable recent transactions include advising Greystar in connection with the formation of a strategic partnership with Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), targeting the acquisition and development of approximately £2.2 billion of BTR assets in London, the United Kingdom, and surrounding commuter towns. Katie subsequently advised Greystar on its purchase and forward funding of a 391-home BTR development in Surrey from Dandara Living. She also has recently advised Goldman Sachs on the acquisition of The Belfry Hotel & Resort from an affiliate of KSL Capital Partners. Other clients that Katie has acted for include CBRE, Delancey, Henderson Park, LaSalle, and Oxenwood.

In addition, Katie served a secondment within Goldman Sachs' real estate asset management division and at Greystar Real Estate Partners.
