Ryan Class represents clients in complex business and financial litigation in numerous federal and state courts. Ryan has extensive experience throughout the litigation process, including case assessment, factual investigation, pretrial discovery, and dispositive motion practice.

In his financial litigation practice, Ryan leverages his prior experience in the financial industry to advise and represent major institutions in disputes relating to structured financial products, including securitizations of various asset classes. Ryan also represents financial and non-financial clients in general commercial litigation, including ongoing representation of a solar company in multiple contract and warranty disputes. In addition, Ryan has experience representing clients responding to government investigative requests from the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).

Before joining Jones Day, Ryan served as a judicial law clerk to the judges of the Connecticut Superior Court's Complex Litigation Docket. Prior to attending law school, Ryan worked as a financial analyst for a large regional automotive lender.
